Frequently Asked Questions

Are you considering replacing doors and windows in your house?

Find out more below about the subject from the experienced team at Timberlake Windows & Doors.

The time it takes to complete the installation of your replacement door depends on a few different factors. How long it takes for the removal of your old door, the kind of door you purchased, and whether any additional equipment is required or there are any issues with the property. Most often, one door will take one day to install.

The exact cost of a door installation will depend on the kind of door you purchase. The cost will also vary if there is any damage from the old door to the home that needs to be repaired. Furthermore, the area where you live will affect the cost. The energy efficiency of the doors will help you save on utility bills, making the overall cost less in the long run.
Please remove curtains, blinds, or any other decorative treatments. Also, have your security company remove any security sensors if you have them. Please move furniture or anything else in the way to make a clear path to the door that is being replaced. It is also a good idea to take down any pictures or wall decorations close to the door as they could fall during removal of the old door or the installation of the new one. We don’t provide hardware, but if you have a handle set on site during the installation, we can install it for you.

Unfortunately, unless it is a window or door purchased through us, we do not offer repairs on glass, screens, frames, etc. The reason being that it is very hard to distinguish the correct parts to order and how to properly install them. This can lead to more issues than you began with.
We currently accept debit, credit, etransfer, and cheque. We do have an option to finance your purchase through our financing company. Ask for more details.
